Seat Altea Review

This car is marketed as a great car for mums, as it has all the mod cons and space that you would need when shipping your children from one place to another.

Inside the car, it is easy to get comfortable whatever your size or shape. The seat and mirrors can be moved around to suit you, and all the dials and switches are exactly where you think they should be. The car is really roomy in the back, as it is nineteen centre metres bigger than your standard car, meaning that the kids won't be all cramped together. The back seats fold down to make a split level boot with under storage, giving you optimum space for football kits, dogs and homework. The cheapest models come with air conditioning and a CD player as standard, so the children will be comfortable and entertained on long trips.

It's cheaper to buy that its main rivals, and if you choose a diesel engine it will maintain its value a lot better, so that when you come to sell it you won't make too much of a loss. The best option is the 1.6 diesel, as the petrol equivalent is bouncy enough to keep up in the city, but not so well converted to long motorway drives. Be careful when reversing, as the blind spot is bigger than you would get in most cars.

If you are considering buying this car, try shopping for your Car Insurance online to save yourself pennies that are better spent on more fun things!
